FAQ's

Q. If I am experience problems uploading my track what should I do?
A. Check your file isn’t too big (larger than 8mb), or have weird characters in like quotation marks or an apostrophe. If you’re still experiencing problems uploading, you can submit your details and audio track by email. Download and complete this form and email this and your audio track to: emailsubmissions@pumamusic.co.uk. We will then email you confirming we have received your details and audio track.

Q. Is there an age limit?
A. Yes, you must be 18 and above to enter both PUMA Liverpool and PUMA Manchester.

Q. What if I am 17 now but will be 18 by the date of the concert?
A. As long as you and all members of your band are 18 before the date of the PUMA Liverpool or PUMA Manchester event your application will be accepted.

Q. Where do I need to live to enter?
A. For PUMA Liverpool at least one band member must have a Merseyside postcode to enter the competition. For PUMA Manchester at least one band member must have a Greater Manchester postcode to enter the competition.

Q. When exactly does entry close for band applications?
A. Entries must be received by 10th of April to be considered for PUMA Liverpool and by 24th April to be considered for PUMA Manchester.

Q. When exactly does entry close for ticket applications?
A. Applications must be received by 13th of April for PUMA Liverpool and by 24th April to be considered for PUMA Manchester.

Q. What type of audio files can I upload to the website?
A. The audio files we accept are: mp3, mp4, m4a, wma and wav audio files.

Q. What size audio files do you accept?
A. Audio files should be no larger than 7MB. If your file is larger than 7MB you may experience problems uploading your track.

Q. What type of image files can I upload to the website?
A. The image files we accept are: pg, jpeg, gif, png, pdf and bmp.

Q. Can I email my tracks or send them via post?
A. Unfortunately we not able to accept tracks via post. However; if you are having problems uploading your track to the website please submit your details using the downloadable form on the website. See the first question for details.

Q. When will I hear if I’ve won the competition?
A. The winner of PUMA Liverpool will be informed on the 16th April 2009. The winner of PUMA Manchester will be informed on the 30th April 2009.
